Currently I’m using Washington mutual. But as we all know, they are going down fast. What bank should I look into? I don’t have much money, so I can’t open an account that requires a couple of thousands of dollars.

How does the personal loan from banks such as Bank of America or Citibank work? April 29, 2010

I just received an offer to apply for a personal loan for up to 35,000 with Bank of America and for up to 5,000 with citibank. I actually need no more than 7,500. The interest rate is between 9,97 and 27,88 based on credit worthyness. I will like to know how it works. I’m hesitating between that and applying for a credit card. My credit score is fair (650). A friend advised me to go for the loan because it’s a guaranteed fixed interest. But since I’ve never done it b4 I will appreciate some more advice. Thanks Much.

How can I get a personal loan or someone to invest in my start-up business overseas? April 28, 2010

I am currently in the military and I get out in the middle of December. I am currently in the middle of starting up a Day Spa (Beauty Spa) for females (in Bahrain) and I have already invested about 85K in loans into the business. I have nearly excellent credit (which is why I got the loans) which I have maintained for about 14 years. Now, about seven weeks from opening, I foresee a shortage of about 30K. I have searched everywhere for another loan, to include the new Patriot Express Business Loan for the military, but, they will not loan for a business overseas. Also, the number of loans on my Credit Report doesn’t make it a great idea to apply for another one. In the first month, my projected revenue is 15K. This total will double itself over the next three months, which is why I know that someone either investing in my business, or granting me a loan, will receive back their loan in a short period, or their investment will be a positive one. Email or rspond w/answer. Thanks.

I’ve been living in Japan for a few months and I need to return to America for a bit. I get direct-deposit into my Japanese bank account and I won’t receive my money until after I leave the country, but I can’t figure out how to withdraw that money while in America. My bank doesn’t issue checks, traveler’s checks have to be prepaid, and my ATM card doesn’t have a magnetic strip or a credit card logo (it just has a microchip). What can I do?

My bank account is overdrawn and I was wondering if the bank will allow you to pay in installments? April 25, 2010

I was trying to pay off my mobile home and the loan company said that they would hold off until Friday. They went ahead and deducted the full amount before Friday causing my account to be overdrawn. Does anyone know if a bank will work with you on paying in installments rather than taking out the entire amount at one time?

Is it possible to take a 200k loan and buy a 100k house? April 21, 2010

Some loan office told me to take a loan and it’s at 200K. I found a house at 100K and is just planning to buy that. It’s a 2 rooms and 1 bathroom house. With the other 100K, I’m going to invest it and collect on the interest. Is it possible of me to do that? O also, I want the other 100K because like my mom and dad, they didn’t have any money at all in the bank or what so to pay their house so they had to sell it. Now if I had that extra 100K invest, I’m going to get at least a bit of % back right. Also if inflation happens, I can be able to use the other 100K to pay off the mortgage

Anyways, can anyone tell me about this? New to the game.

9$ an hour and is getting about 30 hours a week.
Girl make about 9$ an hour also and about 30 hours a week also. Can we make it and is that loan possible or do I have to get a 200K house? Thanks for the help guys.

This will be my first credit card.

I am not planning on carrying any balance. I just want to build my credit history. I am making enough money to cover any purchases and plan to pay in full each month, so I don’t really care about the interest rate.
