I looked at moving dollars from a US account to a UK account nd it worked out expensive. You probably need to have an account with a US bank that has branches overseas and will do the transfer cheaply. I think Capital One bank is a US bank and they certainly have branches around the world and you can control your account online. Although security is tight!
