I’m a high school student with a part-time job, who wants to open a bank account to manage my money, but i don’t make alot of money, so i don’t want to pay alot. There are no Bank of America’s,or Wachovia’s in my area.

Try a Credit union. They are always looking for new members and they generally have better rates.

just cash your checks and give it to your parents for safe keeping since your gonna spend it all anyhow

I believe also that a credit union may be your best deal. You want to pay as little as possible in fees. Many banks and credit unions offer no fee accounts to students. Check them out in your area for a good match. Consider availability of ATMs, online banking, hours of operation of the actual financial institution in reaching your decision.

Do they have a Golden One Credit Union? I have an account there and as a high school student I don’t always hove much money in it lol.
I would highly recommend you look into them because they have great rates.

I would also recommend Chase.
