I have seen a “seasoned company” for sale that has an A1 Dun and Bradstreet rating. How much credit line and what type of terms usually can a company with this credit rating qualify for? The seller states that it could probably qualify for 1mm with an A1 rating.

I loaned a friend some money several years ago to help start a business, and the business failed and I was not repaid for the loan. I also, the same year, had losses from other investments (in the stock market). My understanding is that I can only deduct $3000 in investment losses for that year. Is the personal loan in the same category as the other investments — in other words, does it count as part of the $3000 limit? Or is there a way I can claim that loss separately? Thanks!

It seems that interest rates are much lower for refinancing existing loans, as opposed to new loans. I have a construction loan which doesn’t expire for a few months, would it be better to refinance the construction loan to a permanent mortgage or do a construction to permanent conversion loan? Which will get me a lower interest rate?

So what are some credit cards that will approve almost instantly with a credit score like that? I just want to get it to improve my credit.
